Accuracy and sources

Figures come from the sources named on the source ledger and carry the date they describe and the date they were retrieved. Statistical agencies revise, laws change, and a page past its review date says so. We correct errors in place and date the correction; we do not warrant that everything here is complete or current at the moment you read it.

Where a source’s licence has not been confirmed, its data is withheld rather than published with a caveat. That is a deliberate choice and it means the site is sometimes thinner than the data we hold.
